Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure

Get Involved for a GREAT CAUSE!

For the past 15 years this race has been taking place in the great city of Philadelphia and has an increased # of participants each year. 75% of the money raised each year stays in the Philly area and goes towards education and treatment. The other 25% goes to national reasearch on Breast Cancer. There are NUMEROUS ways you can get invovled or help out for the event!! For active college students, like yourselves, I suggest either registering as an individual participant in the race or put together a team!

Event Date: May 8th, 2005 (Mother's Day)

Event Location: Eakins Oval at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

26th & Ben Franklin Parkway

Event: People of all ages are invited to participate in a

5K Run, 5K Walk, or 1 Mile Fun Run

If you would rather be part of a team but do not think you can get a group together in time many already formed teams are very willing to accept extra participants, so check it out!
